GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, and general ledger functions
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis
- Monitor financial performance and KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
- Coordinate annual audits and oversee tax compliance activities
- Manage reconciliations across multiple dealership locations and accounts
- Partner with senior management on strategic planning, investment analysis, and cost-saving initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
- Experience in equipment dealerships, construction, or a related capital equipment industry preferred
- Experience with ERP or dealership management systems preferred
- Strong Excel, financial analysis, and reporting skills
- CPA or CMA preferred
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
