Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, optimize logistics, manage inventory, and supervise staff to ensure peak efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, hands-on warehouse knowledge, and the ability to handle local delivery logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Warehouse Operations: Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, floor productivity, space management, and shipping/receiving.
Team Leadership: Schedule, train, and manage hourly warehouse staff; establish workflows to maximize productivity while minimizing unnecessary overtime.
Logistics & Deliveries: Oversee local transport and product logistics to customer sites and company facilities; coordinate with drivers and logistics partners to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
Process & Inventory Optimization: Maintain accurate inventory controls, establish product storage requirements, and prepare space allocation and layout action plans.
Equipment & Safety Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of warehouse machinery, tools, and vehicles; enforce company and safety standards to maintain a safe, fully compliant work environment.
Performance Management: Meet regularly with team leads to analyze productivity metrics, implement loss-prevention strategies, and resolve operational issues.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of warehouse experience with direct experience supervising hourly employees.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Technical & Operational: Strong knowledge of standard warehouse procedures, inventory control, and safety policies.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong verbal/written communication, and a proven track record of managing and giving effective feedback to staff.
Driving & Transport: Ability and willingness to oversee local delivery logistics and transport needs as required.
