About the Opportunity

A growing home care organization is seeking an Area Manager to oversee and help develop its Seacoast New Hampshire operation.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands home care operations and enjoys building a successful local operation. Initially, the Area Manager will be directly involved in scheduling, staffing, recruiting, intake, caregiver compliance, client service, and day-to-day operations. As the Seacoast location grows, the role will transition toward managing and developing a local office team.

What You'll Do

Oversee day-to-day operations for the Seacoast region

Maintain oversight of clients, caregivers, staffing needs, open hours, and service delivery

Coordinate scheduling and ensure authorized client hours are staffed

Help connect newly hired caregivers with appropriate client assignments

Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding

Monitor caregiver compliance, training, credentials, and required documentation

Support new client intake, admissions, staffing, and start of care

Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, case managers, and referral sources

Address client and caregiver concerns and ensure issues are followed through to resolution

Monitor key operational metrics including census, admissions, staffing, scheduled hours, open hours, hiring, and service gaps

Help Grow the Seacoast Operation

This role is more than maintaining an existing operation. The Area Manager will play an important part in expanding the organization's presence throughout the Seacoast region.

Responsibilities will include developing relationships with referral sources and community partners, supporting business development efforts, establishing effective office procedures, and helping identify and hire additional office staff as the region grows.

As client and caregiver census increases, additional scheduling, intake, recruiting, and administrative support may be added. The Area Manager will increasingly transition from performing these functions directly to leading and overseeing the local team.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in home care, healthcare operations, office management, scheduling, staffing, recruiting, or a related field strongly preferred

Home care operations experience strongly preferred

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge of Medicaid waiver services is a plus

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills with employees, clients, families, and referral partners

Comfortable working in a hands-on growth environment where responsibilities will evolve

Ability to take initiative and follow issues through to resolution

Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and client service

Comfortable using electronic scheduling, EMR, and other operational systems
