John Knox Village is a not-for-profit Life Care Retirement Community offering a full range of independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care options for more than 1,000 senior residents on our 70-acre campus, located in Pompano Beach, convenient to major highways and transportation options.
What would you do as a Wellness LPN
As a Full-Time Wellness LPN at John Knox Village of Florida, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency triage and conducting ongoing assessments to ensure the independence and comfort of our residents. Your expertise will directly influence optimal outcomes in the management of employee incidents and injuries, as you apply your skills to promote a safe and healthy environment. Your compassionate approach and commitment to excellence will empower both residents and staff, ensuring that everyone receives the highest standard of care and support. What we're looking for in a Wellness LPN
To thrive in the Part-Time Wellness LPN position at John Knox Village of Florida, you'll need a strong passion for working with elders, demonstrating empathy and understanding in every interaction. Teamwork is essential, as you'll collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care. Previous experience in long-term care, short-term rehab, skilled nursing, assisted living, or any healthcare facility is crucial to your success, allowing you to apply your knowledge effectively.
A valid Florida LPN license and current CPR certification are mandatory, ensuring that you are well-prepared for the responsibilities of the role. IV certification is preferred, highlighting our commitment to excellence in patient care. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
