Zantech is in search of a Cloud Solutions Architect to support the Air National Guard Decision Support System (ANGDSS) as part of the Air National Guard Web Tools and Cloud Support Services (AWTCSS) Contract.
The Cloud Solutions Architect will work with the existing development team to help migrate an existing set of web applications to an Air Force approved cloud platform.
The Cloud Solutions Architect will perform the following functions:
- Lead the effort to host the ANG’s web applications in the cloud hosting platform
- Build out the infrastructure in the cloud hosting platform
- Migrate web applications to cloud hosting platform
- Make refactoring and optimization recommendations for the development team
- Help create project schedules and estimates for cloud related projects
- Meet with customers to discuss cloud related plans and progress
- Work with the existing team members to convey plans and conduct migration efforts
Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:
- Demonstrated experience as an Azure Solutions Architect at enterprise scale
- Experience with designing and delivering secure Azure platforms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking
- Knowledge of modern DevOps and Cloud Native concepts and technologies
- Experience architecting and building infrastructure for web system hosting in an on-prem or cloud hosting environment
- Familiarity with n-tier architectural patterns, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), working with certificates
- Experience creating PowerShell scripts
- Experience with setup and configuration of cloud environment with code/scripting and automation
- Experience working in a secure environment with sensitive data
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
Required Education/Certifications:
- Education Required: None
- Education Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Assurance Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications Required:
- IAT Level II or IAM Level II DoD approved cybersecurity baseline certification, or higher.
- Microsoft Azure Certification
Required Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
