Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Production Resource Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of our technical hardware. You will be responsible for the organized storage, tracking, and deployment of broadcast equipment, ensuring that project teams have the gear they need when they need it. This role is hands-on, requiring a mix of digital database management and physical organization within our equipment rooms and offsite locations.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain 100% accuracy of the software inventory system. Execute asset tagging, label management, and regular inventory audits to prevent loss and ensure data integrity.
- Manage the intake of new gear (receiving/asset tagging) and coordinate the delivery of hardware to various sites or departments for installation.
- Lead the ongoing reorganization of equipment rooms. This includes aligning hardware by manufacturer on racks and clearing out low-value items to maximize high-priority storage space.
- Act as the primary point of contact for equipment requests. Pick, pack, and prepare hardware kits specifically tailored for upcoming broadcast projects.
- Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process. Coordinate with vendors to return faulty equipment and track repairs until the items are back in rotation.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of relevant experience in asset management, logistics, or broadcast hardware operations
- Organizational Mastery: Ability to categorize high volumes of technical gear and maintain an organized environment.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with broadcast hardware (servers, switchers, cameras, etc.) and various manufacturers.
- Inventory Software: Proficiency in asset management software and spreadsheet tools, Smartsheet
- Physical Capability: Comfortable moving hardware, reorganizing equipment racks, and working in a technical warehouse setting.
- Problem Solving: Ability to prioritize equipment requests and manage space constraints under tight project deadlines.

Required Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in New York is $110,100 to $147,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
