Job Summary
Summary<br>Responsible for leading and conducting research projects to advance nursing knowledge, improve patient care outcomes, and contribute to evidence-based practices. This role involves designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Lead and manage nursing research projects from conceptualization to completion. <br>
-Develop research protocols, design data collection methods, and create project timelines. <br>
-Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to inform research design and identify gaps in nursing knowledge. <br>
-Implement data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, observations, or clinical data extraction. <br>
-Analyze research data using statistical methods and software. <br>
-Interpret results, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on research findings. <br>
-Prepare and submit research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals. <br>
-Ensure research projects comply with ethical standards and institutional review board (IRB) requirements. <br>

Qualifications

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required and Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience
Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required and Experience in nursing research, including study design, data collection, and analysis 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of research methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication and writing skills for publication and presentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and IRB processes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical decision-making, and professional judgment skills.
