Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer | Boulder, CO

We're seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier quality and manufacturing operations in a fast-paced medical device environment. This role focuses on investigating supplier-related quality issues, leading CAPAs, performing root cause analysis, and partnering with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate supplier quality issues, nonconformances, and returned materials (RMA).
- Lead CAPAs, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive quality improvements with suppliers.
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production-related quality concerns.
- Support nonconforming material investigations, receiving inspection activities, and quality documentation.
- Utilize quality systems such as TrackWise, Agile, and other internal tools.
- Participate in supplier audits and support QMS compliance initiatives.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CAPAs, root cause analysis, and supplier quality activities.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting nonconformance investigations and quality issue resolution.
- Comfortable working both on the manufacturing floor and in an office setting.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred:

- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of QMS requirements and supplier audits.
- Experience with TrackWise, Agile, or similar quality systems.
- Familiarity with receiving inspection and statistical analysis tools.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Boulder, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
