SALARY RANGE: $18.21 per hour, plus tips (depending on volume and staffing)
Summary / Objective
The Caf Crew Member (Barista) provides guests with the best possible experience by delivering high quality food and beverages accurately and effectively, while maintaining our high food safety standards. Provide a fun environment and give the best guest service. This is a tip position that participates in a tip pool.

Essential Functions
- Correctly and safely use of all equipment.
- Have or obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and use such knowledge in day-to-day procedures.
- Knowledge of equipment and utensil use.
- Proper use of chemicals and adhere to safety standards.
- Ensure all condiments, food, and equipment are stored properly and safely.
- Ensure all beverages and food products are presentable and meet customers satisfaction.
- Follow pull/thaw standards to maintain safe food guidelines and control costs.
- Maintain station maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Maintain company safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards for the entire department include walls, drains and floors.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guess service standards and efficient operations.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Comply with all health department policies.
- Uphold the culture and standards of Santa Rosa Entertainment Company, LLC.
- Work hard to identify potential problems and communicate with supervisors to help prevent them from having an impact on gest experience.
- Maintain proper stock of supplies, communicating needs or shortage with management.
- Ability to gasp, lift, reach, crouch, stand, and carry for long period of time.
- A positive attitude.
- Other duties as directed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a cafe and kitchen environment. This role routinely involve using electrical equipment, sharp knives, ovens, and other potentially dangerous equipment. Use of commercial appliances will be used. Proper training will be provided prior to using any dangerous equipment. Employees in this role are frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, and cleaning chemicals.
Physical Demands
The employee is required to stand 100% of their shift, climb or balance; and stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, using proper lifting procedures.

- Have or obtain Food Handlers certification.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual a plus.
- Guest services skills.
- Previous caf experience, a plus.
