Job Summary:

Under general direction and guidance, leads all shift activities and assures the timely shipments of orders processing during respective shift utilizing warehouse management systems. Prepares, monitors, records and reports information regarding shift performance and progress. As necessary, cover other departments and overtime shifts in absence of shift Supervisor. Complete understanding of warehouse management systems, and distribution operations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management System. JDA and BAAN experience a plus.
•Solid understanding of warehouse management systems, transportation systems, labor management, Distribution workflows, and ISO 9000. Must be able to lead and facilitate a well-trained workforce. Supervisor should possess skills to utilize the concept of continuous improvement and change management.

Work Environment:
•Normal warehouse and office environment with some exposure to dust, heat, cold, and noise. Ability to perform light to medium physical work, exerting up to 40-50 pounds of force occasionally, and performing such activities as lifting, keying, stooping and bending.

Experience:
•At least three plus years’ experience in a supervisory or management capacity. Must have four to six years’ experience in Distribution or Warehouse environment. Previous experience in a FDA and ISO regulated environment a plus.

Education:
•Associates degree required with primary emphasis on business management or equivalent. Bachelor degree preferred.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $55,647.00 and $81,732.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
