Area Analyst- L&S

Financial Planning & Analysis
• Analyze L&S product-level financial performance against budget, forecast, and KPIs, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities. • Develop and maintain financial forecasts, scenarios, and models to support short- and long-term planning and investment decisions. • Conduct variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear, data-driven explanations of performance movements. • Translate operational and commercial drivers into actionable financial insights to support decision-making by product and finance stakeholders.
Global Collaboration
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, CX, FinOps, Sales, and Controllers to ensure alignment between financial outcomes and operational performance. • Partner with global and regional stakeholders to drive consistency in assumptions, insights, and financial narratives across L&S products. • Support stakeholder discussions by providing relevant financial insights and contributing to informed decision-making.
Reporting & Performance Management
• Support the Maersk Way of performance management through contribution to Visual Management System (VMS) analysis. • Provide structured performance insights to highlight gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities. • Participate in structured problem-solving sessions, leveraging data and financial analysis to address business challenges. • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance, with clear and concise communication tailored to stakeholder needs.
