The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the delivery of facilities maintenance services across a major healthcare portfolio in Perth.
This role is ideal for someone with a trade background and strong facilities management experience who enjoys building client relationships, driving operational performance, and ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, and the wider BGIS team to deliver exceptional outcomes and a memorable customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing day-to-day maintenance operations across a healthcare facility portfolio
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities and ensuring KPI compliance
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, tenants, and stakeholders
- Managing subcontractor performance, service delivery, and compliance requirements
- Supporting financial management, invoicing, budgeting, and cost control activities
- Reviewing quotes, scopes of work, and minor works projects
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Participating in client meetings and providing operational reporting
- Supporting after-hours response requirements when needed
Your Education, Experience & Skills
- Trade qualification (essential)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a facilities management, maintenance management, or building services environment
- Demonstrated experience managing service delivery and customer outcomes
- Strong financial, commercial, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing contractors and multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of compliance, HSEQ, and quality management systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
