About this role
Our mission at Les Nouvelles Recrues
We recruit you for who you are, not only for what's expected of you — and above all, we help you find THE role that fits YOU.
Today, we're recruiting an Strategic Lead - CxO Summits for our client, Chain of Events , the company behind the events where the people shaping technology actually meet — based in Paris.
About the company
Chain of Events runs three summits, all in Paris, all within the same week:
- Signal Week — the institutional summit for digital assets. Founded in 2019 as Paris Blockchain Week and elevated to Signal Week in 2026, it draws 10,000+ attendees from 100+ countries, roughly 70% of them C-suite. Its last edition convened 250+ banks and financial institutions, over $50T in assets under management, and 70 government officials and regulators — BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Citi, the London Stock Exchange, ESMA and the European Commission among them. The thesis: TradFi and digital assets are no longer two industries but one financial system being rebuilt on shared rails.
- RAISE Summit — the AI summit for decision-makers. Launched in 2024, it has grown from 2,000 to 9,000+ attendees across three editions (80%+ C-level, from 76 countries), with 350+ speakers spanning AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption, agentic systems, sovereignty and policy. The 2026 edition at the Carrousel du Louvre featured Mark Cuban, Yann LeCun and Nelson Griggs (Nasdaq), plus the Versailles AI Gala, the RAISE Hackathon and RAISE the STAKES (1,100+ startup applications in 2026).
- MACHINA Summit — Europe's leading event dedicated to Physical AI: intelligence that acts on the real world through humanoids, industrial robotics, autonomous systems and next-generation human–machine interfaces. Its inaugural 2026 edition brought together the labs building humanoids and the enterprises deploying robotics at scale, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA, 1X, Apptronik and Agility Robotics. It's the fastest-moving brand in the portfolio, with the most white space ahead of it.
In July 2026, all three brands were acquired by Hyve Group , the global B2B events organiser behind Fintech Meetup, HLTH and Shoptalk. In July 2027, they'll converge on the Palais des Congrès during the exact same week.
The role and its stakes
As Strategic Lead — CxO Summits, you will own our CxO Summits end to end across three events (RAISE CTO/CIO · CISO · CMO Summits, MACHINA CxO Summit, Signal Week CFO Summit). This is not a coordination role: you are accountable for who is in the room, what happens in it, and whether those executives come back the following year.
You are inheriting a proven format. The RAISE CxO Summit ran in 2026 and it worked: 822 CEOs , 1,345 CxOs across sectors, 168 Fortune 500 companies , 1,500+ C-levels and founders — with leaders such as Susan Doniz (Disney), Katrin Lehmann (Mercedes-Benz), Jean-Michel Garcia (BNP Paribas), Yves Caseau (Michelin) and Daniel Dines (UiPath) in the room. The 2027 challenge: extend the model from one executive track to five, across three events and three industries, in a single week. That build is yours.
Concretely, you will:
- Build the partnerships that fill the room. Executive audiences aren't acquired through marketing — they are convened. You design and close partnerships with the organisations that hold those relationships: strategy consultancies (McKinsey, BCG, Bain…), investment firms, corporate partners, executive networks and peer communities. You identify the right partner archetypes for each track, structure the value exchange and negotiate the terms.
- Own the attendee journey from first contact to post-event follow-up: qualification, invitation, onboarding, briefing, on-site experience. Every CxO who attends should feel the programme was built for them specifically.
- Design the format from a blank page : duration, room configuration, session mix, the ratio of speaking to peer exchange, Chatham House rules where relevant. You decide what a CISO Summit should feel like versus a CMO Summit, and why.
- Build the content : define the editorial angle for each track, source and secure speakers, structure keynotes, panels and closed-door roundtables. Our standard: an executive should not be able to get this conversation anywhere else.
- Manage the team : you lead a team of interns handling operational deployment (speaker onboarding, agenda management, logistics, on-site execution). You set the priorities, review the work and own the output.
Growth and development
- Full ownership of a P&L-relevant product line from day one — not a slice of someone else's project.
- Direct access to the founding team and, through Hyve, to an international events platform.
- A network you build in the room: the executives, partners and speakers you convene are yours.
- Three events, three audiences, three formats — the learning curve is steep by design.
Your future team
You'll work closely with Chain of Events' founding team and lead a dedicated team of interns handling the operational deployment of the summits.
About you
- 2–3 years in strategy consulting (MBB, Tier-1, Big 4 strategy or a strong boutique), or an equivalent path combining structured problem-solving with client-facing seniority.
- Comfortable holding a substantive conversation with a Fortune 500 CTO, CISO or CFO — and being taken seriously.
- Genuine intellectual curiosity about AI, robotics, cybersecurity and financial infrastructure. You don't need to be a technologist, but you do need to build a credible agenda on these topics and know a shallow panel when you see one.
- Able to run several workstreams across three events on fixed, non-negotiable dates.
- First management experience appreciated, not required — but the appetite for it is.
- Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.
- Willing to work in an events cycle: intense build-up phases, then execution weeks that demand everything.
