Your role & work environment

As Hospitality & Culinary Experience Manager at BEE (Building Experience & Excellence), your challenge is to elevate food, hospitality and workplace experience into strategic drivers of employee satisfaction, client experience and workplace engagement.

You will join BEE (Building Experience & Excellence) at ING Belgium, the department responsible for real estate, workplace services and facility management. In this role, you will act as the bridge between culinary excellence, hospitality operations and workplace experience, ensuring that food and beverage services contribute directly to the BEE ambition of creating environments where employees, clients and visitors feel welcome, connected and inspired.

As an internal BEE colleague, you will actively contribute to the evolution of our Food & Beverage strategy, improve daily operations, strengthen collaboration between stakeholders and suppliers, and continuously identify opportunities to enhance the workplace experience.

Your key responsibilities

Culinary & Hospitality Excellence

- Deliver high-quality culinary experiences for employees, clients and visitors.
- Coordinate executive hospitality, VIP visits and strategic events.
- Develop innovative, healthy and seasonal food concepts.
- Ensure consistency of service quality across food and beverage activities.
- Act as an ambassador for ING hospitality standards.

Employee & Client Experience

- Contribute to workplace experience initiatives that encourage collaboration and office attendance.
- Organize culinary moments that strengthen employee engagement and community building.
- Support major internal and external events.
- Translate employee feedback into tangible service improvements.
- Create memorable hospitality experiences for clients, visitors and stakeholders.

Operational Excellence

- Identify and implement improvements for kitchen operations and food service processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives impacting catering and hospitality teams.
- Build strong collaboration between catering operations, Building Managers and Service Excellence teams.
- Promote efficient, practical and employee-centric ways of working.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve service delivery.

Food & Beverage Expertise

- Contribute to the development of the BEE Food & Beverage strategy.
- Advise on menu concepts, hospitality standards and workplace trends.
- Support supplier governance and food service quality monitoring.
- Promote sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and responsible sourcing.
- Maintain awareness of innovations and best practices within the hospitality sector.

Strategic Contribution

- Bring operational insights into BEE strategic discussions.
- Represent the voice of frontline hospitality and catering teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve employee wellbeing through food and hospitality.
- Contribute to workplace experience projects and transformation initiatives.
- Support BEE in creating a distinctive hospitality proposition within ING.

As a Hospitality & Culinary Experience Manager, you will also need

- Professional culinary training or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in hospitality, catering, fine dining or corporate food services.
- Strong customer focus and service mindset.
- Experience organizing hospitality for executive and VIP environments.
- Ability to balance operational delivery with strategic thinking.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Interest in employee wellbeing, workplace experience and hospitality innovation.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene and sustainability standards.
- Dutch, French and English.
