A1Apps is hiring an Android Intern to support our Android team across feature development, debugging, testing, and day-to-day execution on live mobile products. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants real hands-on exposure to Android product development in a fast-moving environment. You should be excited to learn from experienced developers, contribute to production work, and build stronger practical skills across implementation, debugging, and app quality.
## What you’ll do
- Support development of new features and product improvements across Android applications.
- Help debug issues, fix basic problems, and improve app stability.
- Work with Android UI components, Activities, Fragments, APIs, and JSON-based integrations.
- Contribute to testing efforts and support code quality improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and learn how to apply feedback effectively.
- Collaborate with the team on day-to-day engineering tasks and follow-through.
- Build stronger understanding of Android architecture, development workflows, and production best practices.
What we’re looking for
- Basic understanding of Kotlin and Android development fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Android Studio and the Android development workflow.
- Good understanding of Android UI, Activities/Fragments, APIs, JSON, and basic application architecture.
- Basic knowledge of Git or version control.
- Comfort with debugging and solving basic technical issues.
- Strong learning mindset, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work collaboratively.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Jetpack Compose .
- Exposure to Firebase .
- Familiarity with REST APIs .
- Exposure to third-party SDK integrations.
- Prior hands-on Android experience through internships, projects, coursework, or hackathons.
