About this opportunity:

In EMEA Service Line BSS/OSS South Balkans we are looking for an Integration Engineer to participate in BSS projects in Bulgaria and analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a BSS Business Support Systems solution (mainly Billing and/or OrderCare & Catalog). The employee will be based in Sofia and will part of a larger Team of ~25 employees in 4 different countries in the Southern Balkans. The role is part of customer team and work in customer premises or remotely for the customer wherever possible.

What you will do:

- Analysis: Responsible for analyzing, designing & developing commercially viable end-to-end technical IT BSS solutions for the customers.
- Integration: installation, configuration and integration of Ericsson’s BOS/DMP Digital Monetization Platform solution (work with the customer on-site or from the back-office as a member of the implementation team)
- Development: design, develop adapters and interfaces on Ericsson Digital Monetization Platform API and tools. Participation on business configuration in accordance with customer's service contract.
- Support: Investigate technical problems, troubleshoot systems that are in operation and if requested, participate in the remedy of systems in case of critical situations.
- Participation on business configuration in accordance with customer's service contract.

The Skill you bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 2 years of experience in Billing, OrderCare/Catalog, Mediation or Charging/Prepaid platforms (Knowledge of Ericsson Billing, EOC/ECM, Ericsson Charging or Ericsson Mediation would be a plus) 
- Good attitude & social skills.
- Ability to perform in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment.
- Ability to show active participation within a team – be engaged.
- Deliver results & meet customer expectations.
- General "open source" knowledge, "hands on" approach and a "can do" attitude
- Fluency in Bulgarian and English
- Required European Union (EU) Work Permit/Residency.

Technical skills:

Good knowledge on some of the following:
- Database knowledge (Oracle, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, mySQL).
- Operating Systems (Redhat Linux etc.), native cloud, containers & kubernetes would be a plus.
- Shell scripting experience, Python and Groovy scripting languages.
- Java/JavaScript and the relevant ecosystems (tools and APIs).
- Experience with technical trouble shooting.

Optional skills:

- Knowledge on basic networking concepts.
- Exposure to open-source technologies.
- Good GSM and Telecom IT understanding.
