About this role

## About the role
Revelane is a partner in commercial excellence. We work side by side with ambitious mid-market companies to strengthen their competitive position and turn potential into sustainable revenue growth. With clarity on direction, focus in execution, and a way of working proven across 100+ partnerships, we help leadership teams move from ambition to performance.

As a Commercial Pricing Specialist, you'll work at the intersection of data, pricing and commercial strategy, leading the analytical side of client engagements. It's a hands-on role: you'll work directly from clients' own transaction data, run the pricing analysis, build models, shape the approach and translate findings into commercial recommendations. You'll be expected to be comfortable with ambiguity and to own your workstreams from the start.
## Key responsibilities

Pricing diagnostics and analysis

- Work from data to quantify price dispersion, discount leakage and margin erosion across customers, products and channels.
- Build, maintain, and defend pricing and business models.

Pricing strategy and commercial design

- Translate the analysis into price structures, segmentation and commercial business cases.
- Support go-to-market work with positioning, channel economics, and the logic behind price levels, discount rules and approval rights.

Client engagement and advisory

- Lead working sessions with finance and sales, usually in Dutch, and present findings.
- Prepare client-ready deliverables, clear, structured and insight-led.

Method and platform enablement

- Scope engagements and design the methodology with senior colleagues.
- Turn each engagement into reusable method inside our pricing platform.

## What you'll bring
You combine quantitative rigour with commercial instinct. You bring:
- 3–5 years of commercial pricing experience, in a B2B business or a consultancy.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business, statistics or a related quantitative field.
- Strong quantitative skills, comfortable working with data daily.
- Commercial instinct, you think beyond the numbers and ask “so what does this mean for the business?”
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Native or fluent in Dutch; excellent command of English.
- Based in (or within commuting distance of) Amsterdam and willing to work on-site from our Amsterdam office.
Nice to have:

- Experience with specific pricing research techniques, such as Van Westendorp or Conjoint.
- Experience with a CPQ tool.
- A good understanding of some programming language.

## Why join Revelane?

That’s why we stand beside winners and industry leaders, helping them go from good to great, turning determination into results and ambition into stronger outcomes.

Joining our team means:

- See your analysis turn into real decisions.  Direct exposure to pricing and commercial strategy projects across industries, in a growing pricing practice and platform that benefits from your input.
- Work with ambition. Partner with European growth companies, mostly mid-market, nearly all B2B, each driven to accelerate performance and realise their potential.
- Grow through challenge. Every project brings new markets, business models, and strategic questions. A constant opportunity to deepen expertise and expand perspective.
- Collaborate across disciplines. Work closely with senior colleagues on methodology, and with commercial teams to turn analysis into decisions.
- Thrive with autonomy. Freedom to make decisions and trust to shape your own approach, supported by a team that values ownership, rigour, and initiative.
- Be part of a high-energy team. Surrounded by sharp, curious and collaborative peers who value analytical depth and commercial impact equally.
- A professional environment that's also enjoyable. A great office in the centre of Amsterdam, lunch provided, regular team drinks and outings, a company ski trip for those who enjoy it, plus 25 days of holiday with a few extra days off between Christmas and New Year.
