About this role
Bremont has been named one of the UK's Best Workplaces™ in Retail, Hospitality & Leisure 2026 by Great Place To Work®
KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Sales Associate in our Mayfair Flagship, you are the first and most lasting expression of the Bremont brand. You will build enduring relationships with a discerning clientele, advise them with expertise and discretion, and help sustain a boutique defined by precision, warmth and standards that never slip.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand ambassadorship
- Embody the brand in presence, dress, language and conduct, on the shop floor and wherever you represent Bremont, in line with company guidelines
- Speak about Bremont's heritage, engineering and watchmaking with authority, connecting product to the individual client's story
- Stay current with horology, the luxury landscape and cultural developments, using them to make every conversation richer and more relevant
- Represent the brand with poise and discretion at events, trunk shows, partner activations and private appointments
Client advisory and commercial excellence
- Lead consultative, unhurried conversations that establish what a client values, then guide them to the piece that suits them with conviction
- Deepen each relationship through considered advice on complementary pieces, straps, complications and the wider collection, never through pressure
- Recognise the right moment to invite a decision, and the right moment to let a relationship mature
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly budgets and KPIs, understanding that sustainable performance is built on client value, not transaction volume
- Process every sale accurately and seamlessly, so that the closing of the appointment is as considered as the start
Proactive clienteling and business development
- Build and curate a personal client book, recording preferences, milestones and purchase history with care
- Contact clients with purpose: new arrivals, servicing, anniversaries, invitations, personal notes. Maintain regular, personalised communication and follow up on every interaction
- Actively recruit new clientele through introductions, events, partnerships and local networks
- Use quieter periods deliberately for outreach, client research, appointment preparation and identifying opportunities
- Put forward ideas to the Flagship Director for marketing initiatives, events and collaborations that build awareness, footfall and sales
- Approach every relationship with a long-term view: the measure is a client's lifetime with the brand
After-sales and client care
- Deliver first-class service before, during and long after the purchase, building loyalty and retention
- Receive, log and distribute service and repair watches, working closely with the Customer Service team and keeping the client informed throughout
- Attend live chats daily to company standard, with swift, accurate and well-written responses. The same standard applies to all client and internal communication
- Address concerns with grace and composure, resolving them to the client's satisfaction and protecting the relationship
Boutique standards and attention to detail
- Handle product as a custodian: white-glove care, flawless presentation and immaculate condition at all times
- Take pride in visual merchandising and hold the boutique to model store standards, matching the quality of the product
- Maintain a hospitality standard from welcome to farewell, including packaging and presentation
- Notice what others miss: a mark on the glass, a client's hesitation, a detail worth remembering
Events
- Contribute fully to in-store events, trunk shows and promotional activity, from set-up and takedown through to hosting
- Meet and greet guests with the aim of building genuine client relationships, not simply attending
Security, compliance and integrity
- Follow all store policies, procedures and legal requirements, including returns, exchanges and counterfeit detection
- Maintain vigilance around security, protecting high-value stock and helping prevent theft or fraud
- Uphold GDPR and data protection requirements, and treat all client information with absolute confidentiality
Team and values
- Work as one team, sharing leads, supporting colleagues and placing the client experience ahead of individual credit
- Bring energy, composure and positivity that lifts the boutique, especially under pressure
- Take ownership without being asked, and contribute to a culture of feedback and continuous improvement
- Live the company values
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Demonstrable experience in luxury retail, watches, fine jewellery or high-end hospitality, with a record of clienteling and repeat business
- Experience with high-value or UHNW clients is a distinct advantage, as are additional languages
- Refined written and verbal communication
- Commercial curiosity, self-direction and resilience
- Genuine passion for craft, design and watchmaking, or the appetite to master it quickly
- Impeccable presentation and professional bearing
