Plant Maintenance Mechanic I

What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment to support safe and efficient operations
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
- Inspect machinery and identify maintenance needs before they affect production
- Assist with the installation, alignment, and testing of plant equipment and components
- Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records
What Are We Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, tools, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
