Department: Parks + Rec Grade: 150 Salary: $21.15/hour Job Duties
- Responsible for operating specialized maintenance equipment and is proficient in use of handheld equipment, hand tools, and other power equipment; performs asset and infrastructure improvements and manual labor as necessary
- Cuts brush and trees from county infrastructure
- Participates in ice and snow control operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an industry related position or craft. Must complete Division specific training as directed.
- Must obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement within six (6) months of hire
- Heavy lifting is required, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds.
- Must submit to/pass pre-employment background/drug screen.
