Key responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on leading cloud providers, ensuring high availability, reliability, scalability, and robust security.
- Assist in designing cost-effective solutions and services, ensuring value is measured, tracked, and realized at key delivery points.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, or others.
- Monitor and optimise cloud resource utilisation for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- DevOps Practices and Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Automate application build, testing, and deployment processes to streamline delivery cycles, continuously increasing developer productivity and delivered quality.
- Automate maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backups, focusing on reducing manual activities while ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to increase system visibility and enable faster response to events.
- Operational Support: Monitor system performance using modern monitoring tools to provide advanced insights and analytics.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in cloud and application environments, and assist in restoring normal operations.
- Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Support internal and external customers with technical issues.
- Security and Compliance: Apply best practices for securing cloud resources, including identity management, network security, and data security.
- Support compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development, operations, QA, and security teams to align cloud infrastructure with application needs.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members.
- Contribute to the improvement of processes and DevOps best practices across the organization.
- Document solutions, processes, and tools of high quality.
- Engage in continuous improvement following the company's internal education program.
