We are looking for an Airfreight Operational Care Specialist (Import) to join our dynamic Air Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating international airfreight shipments, supporting pricing and quotation activities, and ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service throughout the transportation process. Working closely with internal stakeholders, airlines, and external partners, you will play a key role in delivering efficient, cost-effective, and reliable logistics solutions in a fast-paced global environment.

## How you create impact

- Coordinate and manage international airfreight shipments from booking to final delivery.
- Support  pricing activities by obtaining competitive rates from airlines and partners, evaluating transportation costs, and contributing to the development of cost-effective and customer-focused solutions.
- Ensure all shipment activities are executed accurately, on time, and according to customer requirements.
- Monitor shipment status, proactively follow up on delays or deviations, and provide timely updates in operational systems.
- Prepare and verify transport documentation while ensuring compliance with airfreight regulations and company procedures.
- Liaise with carriers, gateways, warehouses, customs teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Review shipping instructions and resolve discrepancies related to routing, transit times, rates, or regulatory requirements.
- Support capacity management and secure space with approved carriers and partners when required.
- Identify operational issues and escalate service failures or exceptions to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and operational efficiency enhancements.
- Support cost optimization efforts while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.

- Proven experience in airfreight operations, freight forwarding, or the logistics industry.
- Solid understanding of international airfreight processes, transportation regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service quality and continuous improvement.
- Professional proficiency in English.
