This Team Leader position is based within the DFC within Goods in Admin/Consumables

## How you create impact

- Responsible for effective guidance of the team and functional operating area(s) as required.
- Conduct facilities reporting and escalation as required.
Support with absence and discipline activities as required.
- Establish an understanding of Risk Assessments and Risk Controls including understanding how to identify risks and implement successful risk controls for safety compliance.
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
- Undertake effective resource utilisation, planning and management activities as required including   planning the   daily workload and ensuring that time and attendance matters are managed.
- Building positive customer relationships and responding constructively to customer requests and internal departments.
- Be an Ambassador for Quality and actively participate in continuous quality improvements, including driving changes in quality gates and culture.
- Actively participate and input into process confirmations, assisting with the identification of necessary amendments, updates and rewrites as required.

## What we would like you to bring

- Warehouse system experience along with knowledge and understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading
- Experience of working to agreed targets
- Ability to influence, negotiate and deal with conflict successfully
- Knowledge of Health & Safety at work
- Preferred experience (not essential) of JDA/ Red Prairie systems
- Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner
- Leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate
- Drive, determination and a track record in delivering continuous improvement
- Analytical and problem solving skills
