As a Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst, you will be a key contributor to an exciting technology project at a client site in Lisbon, working at the intersection of data, analytics, and business insight. In a hybrid working model, you will help organisations make better decisions by turning complex data into clear, actionable intelligence.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, leveraging Tabular models to deliver clear and impactful data visualisations for business stakeholders
- Building and optimising data pipelines and queries using MS SQL Server, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability across BI solutions
- Using Python to support data processing, automation, and analytical tasks, contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of data workflows
- Collaborating closely with business teams and data owners to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into robust and scalable BI solutions
- Identifying data quality issues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that reporting and analytics outputs meet the highest standards of accuracy and relevance
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded BI professional who takes pride in delivering quality work and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst/Developer role, with strong hands-on proficiency in Power BI and Tabular models
- Solid working knowledge of MS SQL Server, including query writing, data modelling, and performance optimisation in production environments
- Practical experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, or analytical purposes, with a structured and quality-focused approach to problem solving
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to critically assess data, identify inconsistencies, and drive improvements with rigour and precision
- A collaborative and adaptable team player, able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and comfortable working in a hybrid, client-facing environment
