GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Warehouse Manager leads with safety in all daily activities. This position will manage the daily warehouse inventory, delivery and receipt of shipments for shed stock and discretionary material orders. The Warehouse Manager is focused on inventory management and control of outgoing and incoming materials. As a Warehouse directly manages the warehousing of finished goods, inventory control, order fulfillment and shipments of product for the assigned region. This position reports directly to the HUB Manager and does not have any direct reports. This position requires organizational skills, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, and a teamwork mentality. Tow motor certifications are desired, but not necessary. Training and education will be provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Daily job duties include but are not limited to managing warehouse and truck stock inventory & materials, returns, purchasing, warranty claims, running materials if necessary.
- This position will interface heavily with area Sales Reps, Contractors and regional technicians.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing company operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; making repairs to the building components as needed
- Completion of all necessary paperwork and SAP transactions required to receive, record and report on current inventory of the HUB location.
- Operation of warehouse equipment within established safety operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area and perform duties in a manner that promotes safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Monitor product being received and shipped to ensure that all shipments are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensures inventory accuracy through cycle counting system
- Oversees the receipt and storage of all finished goods.
- Maintains inventory control for all finished goods.
- Responsible for the physical tagging and location accuracy of all Warehouse Bin Picking Locations and Full Pallet Locations on company property
- Maintains a safe working environment by established policies
- Acts as primary contact regarding tow motor or motorized vehicle regular maintenance and new training
- Perform additional duties or tasks as required
- Provides feedback and innovative ideas to supervisor on building a more profitable warehouse operation
- Ensures proper execution of best practices related to delivery preparation and process
- Oversees unloading/loading of inbound and outbound merchandise

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

- 1-3 years of experience

• Ability to lead integration of operations or services generally related in nature; may need to coordinate with other departments or divisions.
• Ability to influence, develop, motivate and change behavior.
• Problem solving skills; ability to effectively resolve a variety of issues that require the identification of the issue, application of judgment and the selection of viable solution alternatives.
• Ability to guide situations in accordance with standard practices; escalates issues accordingly.
• Must perform a variety of duties and operate within established practices and procedures covered by precedents
• Must set priorities and meet specific goals and objectives.

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
