Systems Engineer 3 – Cloud Engineering

Position Overview

The Systems Engineer 3 is responsible for the systems engineer ing, design, integration, and technical development of cloud -based services and solutions. This role requires a strong systems engineer ing background combined with hands-on experience designing and engineer ing scalable, reliable cloud environments.

Responsibilities

- Design and engineer cloud -based services, systems , and infrastructure to meet mission and technical requirements.

- Develop and evaluate cloud system architectures, interfaces, and technical solutions.

- Apply systems engineer ing principles to requirements analysis, system integration, verification and validation, supportability, effectiveness analyses, and technical trade studies.

- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications.

- Engineer solutions that support scalability, reliability, performance, and the health of distributed cloud systems and virtual machines.

- Drive the stability, sustainability, and continuous improvement of cloud -based systems through engineer ing solutions and technical analysis.

- Utilize trends, metrics, and performance data to identify opportunities to improve existing frameworks, tools, processes, and cloud services.

- Troubleshoot and resolve systems functionality, performance, configuration, and integration issues.

- Work across hardware, software, networks, virtualized environments, and cloud services to define and integrate end-to-end solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.

- Associate's degree (AS/AA) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.

- High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.

Certifications

- IAT-2 certification required.

- One or more cloud certifications required.

Clearance

- Active Secret clearance required.
