Job Summary

JD.com, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to manage the efficient and timely coordination of our logistics and delivery operations. This role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction by optimizing routes, assigning tasks, and resolving operational issues in real-time.

Job Responsibilities**

* Receive and process incoming orders and delivery requests from various channels.
* Plan and optimize delivery routes for drivers, considering factors such as traffic, delivery windows, and vehicle capacity.
* Assign tasks to drivers and monitor their progress throughout the day.
* Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments regarding delivery status, delays, and any issues that arise.
* Utilize dispatching software and GPS tracking systems to monitor fleet movements and performance.
* Resolve operational problems, such as vehicle breakdowns, delivery exceptions, or customer complaints, promptly and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of dispatches, deliveries, and driver activities.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
* Generate daily reports on delivery performance and operational efficiency.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
* Proven experience (1-3 years) as a dispatcher, preferably in a fast-paced e-commerce or logistics environment.
* Strong geographical knowledge of the service area.
* Proficiency in using dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively under pressure.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
