# Job Description Summary
As an Order Management Intern you will be joining a dynamic environment as part of the Clinical Accessories Order Management team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside order management and customer service professionals within various fields related to the execution of customer orders in DACH region. You will gain exposure supporting the Sales teams and assisting the greater Supply Chain organization in achieving its annual goals and objectives as an active participant.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Validating and booking customer orders with accuracy and according to compliance requirements
- Managing open orders backlog to ensure timely fulfillment, delivery, invoicing, and closure
- Communicating with different stakeholders, both internal and external, in various functions (commercial team, manufacturing, finance, logistics, warehouse, controllership, transportation companies etc.)
- Identifying and escalating order execution risks and issues
- Processing Returns and Out Of Box Failures
- Ordering demo inventory in support of Commercial Sales
- Creating and updating Work Instructions and Job Aids
- Handling customers inquiries
Qualifications/Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (or equivalent) in a relevant field related to the internship position.
- Availability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, with a commitment to remain in the internship for at least one year preferred.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, with an ability to learn new systems;
- Effective time management and organizational skills;
- Able to balance multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Fluent in English & Spanish (both written and spoken); additional European languages are an asset
- Exhibits a strong work ethic and ability to work well both independently and within a team.
Desired Characteristics
- Previous (internship) experience in a similar role or at a multinational company
