Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical .
- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in an engineering role in an aerospace environment.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with material processes such as heat treating, welding, chemical etching, and stripping, high-temperature diffusion coatings, plating, etc.
- Experience with NADCAP coating, heat treating, and welding accreditations.
- Knowledge specifically to high-temperature diffusion coatings (aluminide, chromide, and platinum aluminide coatings) for gas turbine engine components.
