About this role

About Us

The human brain is the most complex object in the universe, yet society has accepted one-size-fits all approaches to cognition. The “solutions” (think coffee, energy drinks, and even a friend’s rx) were mediocre at best and frankly, made no sense to us. So, we created Thesis, the world’s first customized nootropics company. If you’ve never heard that word before, it’s just a fancy way of saying brain supplements. In five years, most will be taking nootropics on the daily and chances are, they’ll be ours.

With an exceptional efficacy rate, the world has taken notice — we’ve raised over $13M in venture capital, garnered interest from leading neuroscientists and athletes, and established ourselves as the industry’s leading brand. Now, we’re looking for incredible people to help us share the gift of enhanced cognitive function with the world. If you’re looking to be a part of a movement — one that involves both immense self-growth and an ambitious mission to pioneer an industry — we’d love to have you on the team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Director of Partnerships & PR to turn creator relationships into a larger, more effective engine for customer acquisition across Thesis and Stasis.

You’ll inherit an established program working with approximately 200 creators per year and lead a team of two. Your opportunity is to build on that foundation: develop larger strategic partnerships, deepen relationships with high-performing creators, and turn content and distribution into measurable business results.

Creator partnerships are the core of this role, alongside ownership of PR and earned media. You’ll combine strong relationship instincts with commercial judgment, knowing whom to partner with, how to structure a deal, how to activate it, and when to scale or move on.

You’ll be both a strategic leader and a hands-on operator, equally comfortable building a plan, negotiating a partnership, briefing a creator, analyzing results, and moving execution forward.

AI fluency is essential. We expect you to use AI thoughtfully and regularly to improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of your work and your team’s.

What You’ll Own

Creator partnerships and strategic growth

- Set the creator partnerships strategy, with customer acquisition and profitable growth as the primary objectives.

- Evolve an established creator program into a portfolio of repeatable, high-return partnerships, including longer-term ambassadors, larger creator deals, and strategic brand collaborations.

- Identify and develop creators whose audiences, credibility, and content can help us acquire new customers.

- Lead commercial negotiations, including compensation, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, and renewal terms.

- Build activation plans that connect creator storytelling, organic distribution, paid amplification, and conversion.

- Develop opportunities across social, YouTube, podcasts, and healthcare professional partnerships, prioritizing those with a clear business case.

- Own whitelisting and partnership ads end to end: negotiate paid usage terms, secure and manage handle access and ad codes, and maintain an accurate rights and expiration record across all creative running in paid.

Measurement and investment decisions

- Own the partnerships budget and establish clear performance targets with Growth, Finance, and Analytics.

- Strengthen creator-level reporting so the team can make consistent decisions about testing, renewal, expansion, and spend allocation.

- Evaluate acquisition costs and returns using creator fees, media investment, activation costs, and the timing of actual delivery.

- Bring together paid performance, tracked conversions, post-purchase survey insights, and organic signals while being clear about attribution limitations.

- Design tests that help establish incremental impact and translate findings into better partner selection, deal structures, and activation.

- Communicate results clearly: what worked, what didn’t, what we learned, and what changes next.

- Maintain a reliable supply of creator creative into paid channels, working from asset-level performance data to inform the next round of briefs, formats, and hooks.

PR and earned media

- Own PR and earned media strategy, building credibility and reaching relevant audiences through compelling stories and relationships.

- Manage agency partners and develop relationships with journalists, editors, publishers, and relevant voices in health and wellness.

- Shape opportunities for product coverage, founder storytelling, expert commentary, and podcast appearances.

- Set clear objectives for earned media and evaluate coverage quality, audience relevance, referral activity, and contribution to discovery and acquisition.

- Coordinate with Brand, Science, and Regulatory to keep external communications accurate and consistent.

Science and expert collaboration

- Partner with Science and Regulatory to translate approved scientific information into accessible creator briefs, talking points, and partner materials.

- Develop content and partnership opportunities with healthcare professionals and Scientific Advisory Board members that strengthen trust, education, and customer acquisition.

- Help creators and expert partners communicate product information clearly and compellingly, using approved claims and maintaining scientific accuracy.

Team leadership and operating excellence

- Lead, coach, and develop two direct reports, providing clear priorities, ownership, and performance expectations.

- Stay close to execution: personally lead important relationships and negotiations, sharpen creator briefs, review content, and work through performance questions.

- Improve the systems that move partnerships from sourcing and negotiation through content delivery, launch, measurement, and renewal.

- Partner closely with Growth and Creative to turn creator partnership content into effective advertising and feed performance learnings back into briefs.

- Build practical AI workflows for research, sourcing, briefing, analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency, with human judgment and quality checks.

- Work with a toolkit that includes Plot, Motion, OuterSignal, and Archive .

What Success Looks Like

You’ve grown the program’s contribution to customer acquisition while maintaining disciplined economics. High-performing creators become durable partners, larger activations produce measurable returns, and the team has a clear basis for deciding where to invest. PR earns relevant coverage and builds credibility, expert collaborations strengthen trust, and better systems and AI-enabled workflows help the team expand its impact.

We're Excited About Your:

- Track record of scaling creator or influencer partnerships that delivered measurable customer acquisition for a consumer brand.

- Experience owning budgets, negotiating meaningful deals, and making investment decisions based on performance.

- Strong understanding of paid social, creator-led advertising, partnership ads, content usage rights, and organic distribution.

- Analytical confidence: you can challenge a misleading ROI calculation, work through imperfect attribution, and make a clear recommendation.

- Experience developing larger partnerships beyond one-off content transactions.

- Experience leading PR or earned media programs and holding agency partners accountable.

- People management experience and the ability to lead strategically while remaining hands-on with briefs, relationships, analysis, and execution.

- The ability to work with Science, Regulatory, or subject-matter experts to translate complex information into clear, accurate partner content.

- Demonstrated AI fluency, with examples of workflows you’ve built or improved.

- Excellent communication, relationship management, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Experience in health and wellness, supplements, or healthcare professional partnerships is a plus.
