The Role
In this vital role, you will lead the coordination of pre- and post-operative patient care. You will provide specialized post-anesthesia nursing care (PACU), ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for patients as they recover from anesthesia. We are looking for a teammate who balances technical precision with a high standard of customer service.
Schedule:
- Hours : Full-time (80 hours per two-week pay period)
- Shift : Four 10-hour shifts, Monday – Thursday (No weekends or holidays!)
What Youll Do
- Clinical Excellence: Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care for surgical patients using established standards.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a primary advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with physicians and staff to maintain a culture of kindness and accountability.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current State of Nebraska RN license.
- Certifications: CPR/BLS required at hire; ACLS and PALS required within 90 days.
- Experience: Previous PACU experience is preferred.
- Credentials: ASPAN certification is highly desirable.
