About this role
Dart Transit Company is looking for an Orientation Facilitator to join our team in Eagan. This is a hands-on position responsible for helping new drivers successfully complete orientation and ensuring every detail is handled before they hit the road.
Attention to detail is an absolute must for this position. There are a lot of moving pieces during orientation, and paperwork, documentation, and required steps cannot be missed.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and assist new drivers throughout the orientation process
- Facilitate and teach portions of new-hire orientation
- Gather, review, and organize required driver paperwork and documentation
- Audit driver qualification and orientation files for accuracy and completeness
- Identify missing documents or information and ensure they are corrected promptly
- Track drivers through each step of the orientation process
- Coordinate with Recruiting, Safety, Operations, Background Investigations, and other departments
- Clearly explain company policies, procedures, expectations, and next steps to new drivers
- Maintain accurate records and ensure files meet company and regulatory requirements
- Help create a professional, organized, and welcoming experience for every new driver
What We're Looking For
We need someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable speaking in front of groups, and extremely detail-oriented.
The right person enjoys working with people but also understands that the administrative side of the job is just as important. You need to be able to manage multiple drivers, documents, deadlines, and priorities without letting the small things fall through the cracks. Transportation or trucking experience is helpful, but we can teach the trucking side of the business. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, communication skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.

- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and conducting training sessions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, positive, and comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong follow-through and ability to identify and resolve missing or incomplete information
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn multiple software systems
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with Recruiting, Safety, Operations, and other departments
- Dependable and able to maintain the Sunday–Thursday work schedule
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in orientation, onboarding, training, recruiting, HR, transportation, or administrative support preferred
- Trucking or transportation experience is preferred but not required , we will train the right person
