Automotive Service Advisor

Expected annual compensation: $60,000–$90,000, including performance incentives
Lewis Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor who can make the repair process clear and easy for customers. Youll be the connection between the customer and our service team: listening to concerns, explaining recommendations, keeping work moving, and following through until the vehicle is ready.

What youll do
- Greet customers, document their concerns, and open accurate repair orders.
- Explain recommended maintenance and repairs in terms customers understand.
- Prepare estimates, obtain approvals, and keep customers updated on timing and cost.
- Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to keep repairs moving.
- Review completed work and invoices before vehicle delivery.
- Follow up with customers and help resolve concerns promptly.
Qualifications
What were looking for
- 3–5 years of experience as an automotive service advisor or service writer is required.
- Experience preparing repair orders, explaining estimates, obtaining customer approvals, and coordinating with technicians.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through in a busy service department.
- Ability to use dealership systems and learn new tools.
- A valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record.
