Job Title: Water Aerobics Instructor at Jim & Heather Gills YMCA
Description: Seeking a dynamic Water Aerobics Instructor to lead engaging water exercise classes. This role focuses on instructing participants using proper form and technique to promote fitness in a fun and supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work evenings & Mondays
- Current certification in aerobics and/or water aerobics, or prior experience leading water aerobics classes
- CPR/AED/Oxygen Administration certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and perspectives
- A natural ability to build rapport and inspire others
- Commitment to upholding the YMCA's core values
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen
- Clear a Level 2 background check*
Pay & Perks: Part-time, $22.00 - $25.00 per class, based on experience. Free individual YMCA membership and discount for family.
