Welder

Tesla is a leading manufacturer and looking for an individual specialized in structural welding and fabrication. We work on a range of projects, from small-scale work to large, complex structural frames. We pride ourselves on our commitment to high-quality workmanship while maintaining costs and high throughput.
Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM; Monday - Friday

- Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum, and TIG welding on stainless steel
- Work on a variety of projects ranging from small components to large structural frames
- Ensure all welds meet strict quality and print specification
- Maintain high throughput with a focus on speed and accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine project specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety protocols
- Ability to operate a fork-lift and an overhead crane

- 3-5 years experience welding within a manufacturing facility
- Experience with welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Specific technical or vocational training preferred
- Regularly lift 30lbs.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of safety standards and welding equipment

Expected Compensation $27.45 - $46.56/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
