We are looking for a talented Accountant to join our team specializing in Finance for Cummins Inc. in Troy, MI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by effectively analyzing, recording, and documenting accounting transactions.
- Strengthen financial integrity through precise general ledger entries and thorough, well-supported account reconciliations.
- Support informed decision‑making by providing responsive, professional guidance to management, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Safeguard the organization’s value and trust by maintaining strict confidentiality and protecting sensitive financial information.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Experience:
Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepares and posts certain monthly journal entries to general ledger
- Prepares monthly account reconciliations for assigned COA's
- Creates various HFM/Onestream reports as needed
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Administration and training of CoStar Lease Accounting software.
