About this role
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Dedham, MA.
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
- Strong technical acumen in engine systems, diagnostics, and electronic service tools to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Effective communication skills to clearly convey technical information to customers and team members.
- Adaptability and initiative to handle diverse service environments and shifting priorities with confidence.
- Commitment to development through ongoing training and self-directed learning to stay current with Cummins technologies.
- A current valid license is required for this role - Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience - This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations - This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
