Reports to: General Labor Supervisor
Cooperates with: Welders, Metal Fab Operators, Shippers, Safety, Customer Service, and Quality
Schedule: M - F, 2:00PM - 10:30PM
MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is currently seeking 2nd Shift General Laborer/Water Spider.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Move materials, components, and supplies to welders and shipping
- Prepping of material for production teams within the facility
- Monitor inventory levels at workstations and notify supervisors of shortages
- Stage materials according to production schedules
- Keep aisles organized and free of hazards
- Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)
- Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
- Clean and grind silencers.
- Assist welders with measuring and layout of materials
- Cut and Prep insulation and screening for fabrication
- Assist the welders with the installation of welding materials
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1 + years of general warehouse experience and knowledge relating to manufacturing preferred
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift
- Knowledge of safe workplace practices
