Job Title: Senior Manager of Talent Management Job Description
A large, global industrial organization seeks a Senior Manager of Talent Management to lead enterprise-wide talent strategy, executive succession planning, and leadership development initiatives. This highly visible role, reporting to the Vice President of Talent & Culture, will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership while designing and scaling talent programs to strengthen organizational capability and leadership readiness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise talent management strategies, programs, and processes across the organization.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve succession planning frameworks for critical leadership and executive roles.
- Develop leadership development strategies to strengthen bench strength and prepare future leaders.
- Build and scale enterprise-wide talent programs from concept through implementation.
- Collaborate with Senior executives and HR leaders to identify talent risks and succession opportunities.
- Guide talent review and calibration processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Utilize workforce analytics and talent insights to drive data-based decision making.
- Foster talent management governance, frameworks, and best practices within a Center of Excellence environment.
- Manage external talent development partners, assessments, coaching programs, and leadership development resources.
- Influence executive stakeholders while aligning talent priorities with long-term business strategy.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive Talent Management, Organizational Development, or HR experience.
- Significant experience leading enterprise talent management initiatives.
- Deep expertise in executive succession planning and leadership development.
- Proven ability to build talent programs from the ground up and drive adoption across large organizations.
- Experience working within a Talent Management Center of Excellence (COE) environment.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence Senior leaders and C-suite stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience leveraging talent metrics and workforce data.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, mining, energy, or similarly complex operational environments strongly preferred.
- Experience with Workday and modern HR technologies preferred.
Work Environment
This position is based at the organization's corporate office and is a key member of the Enterprise Talent Management Center of Excellence. Operating in a hybrid work environment, with three days onsite, this role involves significant collaboration with executive leadership, HR Business Partners, and business leaders globally. The environment is collaborative, strategic, and fast-paced, offering significant exposure to Senior leadership and the opportunity to influence talent decisions globally.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lithia, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $180000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
