RN position details:

We are hiring for the following RN positions:

- Full Time (37.5 hours/week) 7am - 3pm

- Part Time Every Other Weekend (7.5 hours/week) 7am - 3pm

- Part Time Every Other Weekend (7.5 hours/week) 3pm - 11pm

We are offering up to a $15,000 retention bonus for Full Time new hires!

RN job duties include:

- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary. Greet newly admitted residents upon admission and escort them to their rooms.

- Make rounds with physicians as necessary.

- Consult with the resident, their family, and the residents physician when planning the residents care, treatment, and rehab.

- Visit residents on a daily basis in order to observe and evaluate each residents physical and emotional status. Provide direct nursing care as necessary.

- Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.

- Review MAR for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of physician orders, and adherence to stop order policies.

- Participate in the development of a written plan of care (preliminary and comprehensive) for each resident that identifies the problems/needs of the resident, indicates care to be given and goals to be accomplished, and states which professional service is responsible for each element of care.

- Ensure that all personnel involved in providing care to the resident are aware of the residents care plan.

Qualifications

RN qualifications:

- Must have credentials as an RN with a current New York State license.

- Must be CPR and first aid certified.

- Must have verbal and written English skills.
