Massage Therapist - Special Events | Juno Beach & Palm Beach Gardens, FL

HealthFitness is seeking an experienced Massage Therapist to provide chair massages at special events in Juno Beach and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida . This flexible, as-needed role is perfect for professionals who are passionate about helping others relax, recharge, and feel their best.

Events are scheduled on an as-needed basis, with 1-2 weeks' advance notice provided whenever possible.

Responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.

Key Accountabilities

- Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
- General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
- Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.
- Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.

Minimum Requirements

- Massage Therapy License for the state of Florida required.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
- 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
- Experience in sports massage techniques.
- Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $80 - $90/hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
