Job Description

We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Manager who will report to the Chief Financial Officer, as part of our dynamic team in New York.

Your opportunity

The Inventory Control Manager will oversee inventory controls and stock accuracy across the Americas retail network. Working closely with stores and corporate partners, this role will strengthen processes, resolve discrepancies and provide reliable inventory information to support business decisions.

How you will contribute

- Oversee inventory control procedures across stores and relevant sales channels, ensuring accurate records and consistent compliance with internal policies.
- Monitor and reconcile stock movements, including receipts, transfers, returns, repairs and adjustments; investigate discrepancies and drive timely resolution with stores and logistics partners.
- Work closely with Store Leaders and store operations teams to address inventory issues, strengthen day-to-day stock practices and support timely execution of merchandise movements.
- Plan and coordinate physical inventories and cycle counts with Retail Operations and stores; analyze results, identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with Finance on month-end inventory close, stock reconciliations, sales and margin analysis, and the accurate recording and approval of inventory adjustments.
- Collaborate with the Planning team to provide reliable stock visibility, resolve inventory data issues and support informed allocation and replenishment decisions.
- Track goods in transit and work with distribution, logistics and relevant cross-functional teams to resolve delayed or unmatched receipts and transfers.
- Develop reports and key performance indicators on inventory accuracy, shrinkage, stock variances and goods in transit; share actionable insights with stakeholders.
- Support inventory-related audits and investigations, maintaining clear documentation and partnering with Finance, Retail Operations and Loss Prevention as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, controls and workflows; establish best practices and guide teams on their consistent application across the network.

Who you are

- At least 5 years of experience in inventory control, retail operations or a related field; experience in luxury retail is preferred.
- Strong understanding of stock movements, physical inventory processes, reconciliations and retail controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with inventory or ERP systems; SAP and business intelligence tools are a plus.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and the ability to identify root causes and bring issues to resolution.
- An effective communicator who builds productive relationships with stores and cross-functional partners and manages competing deadlines with care.

New York Salary Range:

Annual base salary range of $100,000 - $110,000 (plus discretionary bonus)
