What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep the community looking great and operating at its best while providing excellent service to our residents.
Your day will include completing resident service requests, troubleshooting repairs, preparing apartments for new residents, completing preventative maintenance and working alongside the rest of the team to keep the property in excellent condition.
Responsibilities include:
•  Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally 
•  Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and general maintenance issues
•  Complete apartment make-readies and unit inspections 
•  Perform preventative maintenance to help identify issues before they become larger problems 
•  Assist with maintaining the community’s grounds, buildings, amenities and overall curb appeal 
•  Maintain tools, equipment, parts and inventory 
•  Communicate with residents and team members regarding maintenance needs and completed repairs 
•  Participate in a shared on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.
•  At least 1 year of apartment/property maintenance experience; 2+ years preferred 
•  General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair and troubleshooting 
•  HVAC certification preferred, but not required 
•  Strong problem-solving skills 
•  Good communication and customer-service skills 
•  Ability to work independently while also being a great teammate 
•  Valid driver’s license and auto insurance 
•  Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, climbing ladders and working indoors and outdoors
