Position Overview

The Labor Management Systems Project Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and ongoing success of Labor Management System (LMS) technology across our fulfillment operations. This role serves as the bridge between technology, data, and operations—ensuring our labor management tools and processes provide accurate, actionable insights that support productivity, workforce planning, and operational excellence.

For the first 12-24 months, the position will lead LMS deployments and enhancements from planning and configuration through testing, implementation, training, and adoption. Working closely with Operations, Industrial Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, and external partners, this role will help establish and maintain engineered labor standards , analyze productivity and labor data, and identify opportunities to improve processes and workforce utilization.

Success in this role requires a combination of project management, analytical thinking, operational knowledge, and strong change-management skills. The ideal candidate can take complex technical information and translate it into practical solutions that operations leaders and front-line teams can understand and use. This individual will also serve as a key partner to LMS vendors and external engineering consultants, ensuring system capabilities align with business needs.

Ultimately, this role will help build a more data-driven, efficient, and sustainable approach to labor management across our fulfillment network while supporting our teams through the adoption of new technology, processes, and performance expectations.

What You’ll Do:

- LMS Deployment & Optimization: Lead the configuration, testing, implementation, and enterprise-wide rollout of Labor Management System (LMS) software. Partner with Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure the system accurately supports business processes and productivity goals.

- Labor Standards Implementation: Partner with Industrial Engineering and Operations teams to validate, maintain, and implement multi-variable Engineered Labor Standards. Analyze productivity data and identify opportunities to improve labor efficiency, accuracy, and operational performance.

- Workforce & Productivity Analysis: Utilize LMS data and operational reporting to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for process improvement. Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve productivity and workforce utilization.

- Project Management: Lead LMS-related projects from planning through implementation, establishing timelines, coordinating cross-functional resources, managing risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

- Change Management & Adoption: Drive successful onsite adoption by developing and delivering training for operations leadership and front-line team members. Help teams understand new performance metrics, workflows, expectations, and the “why” behind system changes.

- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Operations, IT, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, HR, and other business partners to ensure labor management processes and technology align with operational needs.

- Vendor Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for LMS software vendors and external engineering consultants. Coordinate system enhancements, issue resolution, testing, upgrades, and ongoing support.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve labor planning, productivity measurement, processes, and system functionality. Use data and operational insights to support continuous improvement initiatives across the fulfillment network.

- Reporting & Communication: Develop and communicate performance reporting and key insights to leadership. Clearly explain technical information, system capabilities, and data trends to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We’re Looking For:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management , or a related field.

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in labor management, industrial engineering, operations optimization, supply chain, warehouse/fulfillment operations, or a related field.

- Equivalent Experience: Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.

- LMS Expertise: Experience with Labor Management Systems such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Tego , or similar platforms.

- Project Management: Demonstrated experience leading technology implementations, process improvement initiatives, or cross-functional operational projects.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency with LMS platforms, data analysis/reporting tools, and project management software. Ability to analyze large datasets and identify meaningful trends and opportunities.

- Operational Knowledge: Understanding of labor standards, productivity measurement, workforce planning, warehouse/fulfillment operations, and continuous improvement principles.

- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data and system functionality into clear, actionable insights for operational leaders and front-line teams.

- Change Leadership: Ability to influence and engage stakeholders, facilitate adoption of new processes and technology, and effectively manage change in a fast-paced operational environment.

- Preferred Certification: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or similar project/process improvement certification is highly preferred.

- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Environmental Factors:

- Standing or walking for up to eight hours a day.

- Frequently lifting up to thirty pounds, occasionally lifting up to seventy pounds.

- Frequently reaching, twisting, and bending in multiple directions.

- Ability to perform work in tight quarter workstations.

- Moderate warehouse noise level.

- Push/pull a picking cart and/or pallet of up to five hundred pounds.

- Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movement (i.e.: folding garments).

- Work in temperatures ranging from 50 – 95 degrees.

- The ability to walk long distances

- The ability to climb flights of stairs throughout the day

- The ability to either stand for long periods of time

- The ability to remain in a stationary position, often sanding for prolonged periods of times

- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work area to another

- Adjusting or moving objects over 20 lbs. in all directions

Position Compensation Outline

Compensation Range: $70,000-90,000/year

This position is eligible to participate in the company bonus program.
