OJ Fireplaces is seeking a dependable, skilled, and safety-conscious Fireplace Installer to join our team. Whether you have previous fireplace installation experience or a background in construction and a willingness to learn, we provide training and opportunities for growth. This role involves installing fireplaces, venting systems, flashings, and related components in residential and commercial settings while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
What you'll do:
- Install fireplaces, venting systems, flashings, and related products according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
- Work in residential and commercial construction environments.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials with precision and attention to detail.
- Operate ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and other equipment safely.
- Collaborate with crew members to complete installations efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Follow all company safety procedures and workplace standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous fireplace installation experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Construction industry experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and elevated work areas.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and building framing structures.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 45 feet.
- Ability to climb into, operate, and work from aerial lifts.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials required for installation work.
