About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect to join a collaborative and design-focused architectural team in New York City. This role is ideal for a licensed architect with strong design sensibilities, technical expertise, and experience leading projects through all phases of development. The successful candidate will work across a variety of project types, partnering closely with clients, consultants, and internal project teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage architectural projects through multiple phases, from schematic design through construction administration
- Develop, produce, and coordinate construction documents in Revit
- Participate in design development and project planning activities
- Coordinate engineering consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
- Attend and lead consultant meetings
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution
- Support project scheduling, resource planning, and deliverable management
- Review existing conditions and define renovation scopes
- Coordinate technical detailing and project documentation
- Work simultaneously across multiple project typologies
- Collaborate closely with partners, principals, associates, and project teams
- Contribute to both the design vision and technical execution of projects

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- 6-9 years of professional architectural experience (NYC project experience preferred)
- Strong design and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite , and other design-related software
- Experience across all phases of project development, from schematic design through construction
- Ability to manage and contribute to a variety of project types
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with team members, consultants, and clients

Preferred Qualifications

- Licensed Architect
- Experience with sustainable design and building performance initiatives
- CPHC, LEED, WELL, or similar accreditation is a plus

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
