What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Fusion Services team, the Senior Consultant, Fusion Services will assist in developing the processes, tools, technologies, and capabilities that enable and support the effective operation of the Fusion team. This includes, but is not limited to; executing a service management capability that ensures sound strategy and decisioning for the suite of tools and technologies that support Fusion, building and executing Fusion governance activities, and delivering on strategic initiatives to build and advance the Fusion team. The Senior Consultant will exercise considerable judgement for decision making on complex issues, researching relevant data, and developing proposals and recommendations as well as coordinating resources needed to execute the work. The role analyzes situations and data using in-depth evaluation of intangibles with minimal precedent, preparing and presenting roadmap progress, issues and recommendations for resolution to internal business partners and executives. The role provides innovative, original ideas, while demonstrating CIBC values and providing support in a manner consistent with the highest quality standards and objectives.

How You’ll Succeed

- Service Management: Assist in development and delivery of the strategy and roadmaps for a portfolio of tools and technologies that support Fusion, including workflow management, threat intelligence sources/tools, incident response platforms, and data/analytics environments. Provide clear, concise direction to associated technology projects.
- Best Practice and Continuous Improvement: Provide a cross-disciplinary perspective and ongoing focus for continuous improvement, and collaboration with partners across the enterprise. Make recommendations to business leaders to ensure alignment and enhancement of our systems, processes, and practices to current and future trends that will secure and safeguard our Bank.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Maintain an internal network and continuous engagement with CIBC’s enterprise security and fraud teams, in addition to an external network of contacts in the security/fraud industry.
- Influencing and Collaborating: Effectively leverage interpersonal skills to impact actions and decisions within and outside CIBC.
