Site Safety Coordinator

Midlothian, TX | Full-Time

Electra Link is seeking an experienced Site Safety Coordinator to support a large-scale project in Midlothian, Texas. This field-based role will serve as the primary onsite safety resource, working closely with project leadership, field employees, subcontractors, and the customer to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on construction safety experience, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and is comfortable spending the majority of the workday in the field.

What You'll Do

- Maintain a strong daily safety presence on the assigned jobsite.
- Conduct jobsite inspections and identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, Electra Link policies, and customer/site-specific safety requirements.
- Conduct new hire/site orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Review JSAs/JHAs and assist field teams with hazard recognition and corrective actions.
- Monitor PPE, fall protection, ladders, lifts, tools, housekeeping, and other construction safety practices.
- Investigate injuries, incidents, near misses, and property damage and assist with root-cause analysis.
- Document safety observations, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Maintain required safety records, training documentation, and certifications.
- Participate in general contractor and customer safety meetings.
- Coach employees and supervisors on safe work practices and reinforce accountability.
- Exercise stop-work authority when an imminent safety hazard is identified.
- Assist with internal, customer, and regulatory safety audits.

Qualifications

Required:

- Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience.
- OSHA 30 Construction certification.
- OSHA 510 certification.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
- Experience conducting field safety inspections and incident investigations.
- Experience delivering safety orientations, toolbox talks, and employee training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work onsite daily in Midlothian, TX.
- Ability to walk active construction sites, climb ladders and stairs, work outdoors, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred:

- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience supporting industrial, data center, electrical, telecommunications, or low-voltage construction projects.
- Experience working on large-scale construction sites.
