About this role

Augusta Country Club is hiring a hands–on technician who is equally comfortable rebuilding a workstation and pulling cable through a ceiling. This is a rare combined role: roughly half traditional technology support, half structured cabling and low–voltage infrastructure across a large, historic campus.

You will not sit at a help desk all day, and you will not pull wire all day. You will do both — often in the same afternoon.

W H A T Y O U ' L L D O
Technology Support

- Deploy, image, and support Windows workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

- Troubleshoot desktop, network, and application issues for staff across the club

- Support point–of–sale, time clock, and club management systems

- Maintain accurate asset and documentation records

Infrastructure & Cabling

- Install, terminate, test, and certify Cat6/Cat6A copper for data and voice

- Pull, dress, and label cable in ceilings, walls, crawlspaces, and outbuildings

- Build and maintain IDF/MDF racks, patch panels, and cable management

- Install and terminate fiber runs between buildings; test and troubleshoot

- Support access control, cameras, wireless access points, sound, and paging

Qualifications

W H A T W E ' R E L O O K I N G F O R

Required

- 2+ years in technology support and/or low–voltage installation

- Able to terminate and certify Cat6/Cat6A to standard

- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and switch basics

- Comfortable with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory

- Able to read and act on a cable certification report

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Able to lift 50 lbs and work from ladders, lifts, attics, and crawlspaces

Preferred

- CompTIA A+ and/or Network+

- BICSI Installer 1, Installer 2, or Technician

- FOA CFOT — fusion splicing a strong plus

- Manufacturer certification: Panduit, CommScope, or Corning

- Ubiquiti/UniFi, Meraki, or comparable network hardware

- Hospitality, resort, campus, or private club experience

- Access control, IP camera, or A/V systems experience
