Role Overview:

ClarityPay is a merchant-first point-of-sale lending platform that helps merchants increase conversion by offering their customers flexible, affordable financing. We fund more than $100 million in consumer loans each month on behalf of our merchant partners.

We are seeking an experienced Director, Capital Markets to help scale our capital markets function. Reporting directly to the Head of Capital Markets, the Director will play a critical role in developing and executing our funding strategy, managing capital partner relationships, and building the scalable infrastructure needed to provide reliable, cost-effective liquidity as the business grows.

This position is in-office at either our New York or Atlanta location.

Key Responsibilities:

- Structure, negotiate, and manage forward flow purchase agreements with loan buyers and institutional partners
- Develop and oversee borrowing base reporting for on- and off-balance-sheet warehouse facilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, and other capital partners
- Analyze large loan-level data sets to support investor presentations, due diligence, and ongoing performance reporting
- Partner closely with Credit, Finance, Legal, Operations, and senior leadership to align funding strategy with business growth
- Help design and implement scalable processes and infrastructure for the capital markets function

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in forward flow agreements, warehouse finance, corporate debt capital markets, or partner-facing relationship management
- Strong understanding of consumer credit risk and underwriting
- Proven relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and database tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic and a high degree of ownership
